My name is David Hutchings and I am the owner and operator of 360 Degree Fitness. I started 360 Degree Fitness in 2013 and have been training clients ever since. I started 360 Degree Fitness with people in mind who didn’t feel comfortable in a gym environment but still wanted to get fit.
I earned a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise (Management and Coaching) from Massey University finishing as the top student in my major and winning the Outward Bound Scholarship as a result. I am also an affiliate member of the New Zealand Pain Society.
I love most sports and have been involved in sports either as an athlete or a coach for most of my life. I have a keen interest in football (soccer) especially and was a player up until my early 30’s and a coach for 9 years, coaching club teams for North Wellington AFC from junior boys right through to premier level senior women.
I am currently a P1 level Krav Maga practitioner and have an interest in self-defense and martial arts. I enjoy adding striking and boxing into workouts with clients (and my own workouts also). I also enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, and a good barbecue.
With years of experience in developing coaching programs for all, I developed 360 Degree Fitness to provide personal training and group fitness training with a holistic approach to health and fitness. Focusing on your needs, really listening to what your concerns and issues may be, and then working with you to find the best way to help you reach your goals.
